In honor of all the gorgeous red lips at last nights Golden Globe’s, My Makeup Monday recommendation is one of my absolute favorite red lipsticks.
MAC- RUBY WOO!
The perfect red, and it’s Super Matte, which in my opinion is the best! Matte red’s look super classic & velvety and they really stay put without bleeding. This is a red every girl should have in their collection! I recommend this with MAC- Cherry Lip Liner.

Ashley Benson-People’s Choice Awards Makeup Breakdown!
Ashley Looked amazing last night at the PCA’s, it was an exciting night for her and the Pretty Lil Liars girls, They won “Best Cable TV Drama”!!!
She just came back from vacation with an amazing tan so I wanted to give her a look that enhanced that, as well as pop her big blue eyes. We went for a Chocolatey/Bronze Glow. Here is a quick breakdown on how to get her look!!
1. Smashbox-Photo Finish Primer
This gives the skin such a silky feel, helps the foundation to glide right on and helps keep it on much longer.
2. Make Up For Ever- Face & Body Foundation
Ashley has perfect skin, so I chose this light liquid to give her fresh even skin. For years this has been of my favorite foundations. This product can be layered until you achieve the coverage you like and it never gets cakey, love!
3. Smashbox- Brow Tech to Go “Taupe”
Amazing, slanted eye brow pencil, with brow gel on the back end. Whats not to love? I lightly filled in her brows with the soft taupe color, great for blondes!
Urban Decay- Eye Shadow Primer Potion
Apply this before your eye shadow to insure that your makeup lasts all night.
Urban Decay- 24/7 Eyeliner in “Bourbon”
I started her eyes by smudging this shimmery chocolate brown pencil all the way around her eye, then blended it out into a smokey shape with a small pointed crease brush (Laura Mercier)
MAC-Eye Shadow “Soft Brown”
I used a fluffly crease brush also by mac, and blended this color into her crease as well the edges underneath her eye (just on the outside of the bourbon liner). This color frames the entire smokey eye.
Urban Decay- Eyeshadow in “Roach”
This has been one of my go to colors forever, a shimmery reddish brown, so great for smokey eyes. I applied this color to her entire eye lid, starting at her lash line and blending upward into her crease, still leaving “soft brown” at the edges. And smoked the color underneath the eye, making the outer corners thicker. Great color for blue eyes!
